Our first and foremost concern for the people in the community is their spiritual needs. We do have a couple of regular outreach programs where we deliver food to the hospital waiting rooms for patients and their families. We also provide meals at the City of refuge mission each month. We do, on occasion help others in need on an individual basis. However our resources for such help are very limited and some must be placed on a waiting list. Each one of these individual requests for help is evaluated separately and help is given according to the need. Unfortunately we cannot help everyone who requests help. We do our very best to help those where help is needed the most when the funds are available.

Do we give money directly to people in need?

It is not generally our policy to give money directly to people in need. Unfortunately not everyone is honest so we must be very prudent with the resources we have.

What do I do if I am in crisis and need help?

We would love to meet with you in person at the church. We like to ask for people to attend services with us so we may minister spiritually as well as physically. Each week members of our deacon board are available to access your need. You may pick up a bulletin at the rear of the church where those names are listed. You may also contact us through EMAIL at-

Do you have a food pantry?

Yes- we believe it is our obligation to help feed those who are hungry just as Christ fed the multitudes and we are ever mindful of his words in Matthew 25: 31-40 and in James 2:16. However we are also mindful of the writings of Paul through the inspiration of God in 2 Thessalonians 3:10.

What are the food pantry hours?

Generally the food pantry is open when the church is open but before anyone receives food from the pantry their need must be assessed and approved. All names of people we help are logged and kept so we can see who might be abusing this privilege. Access to the food pantry is also subject to the schedule of the church representatives.

Who can use it?

Anyone whose need has been accessed by the church and approved may receive food.
